A slithery surprise for staff at a Lake Macquarie post office, with three snakes found inside a parcel.
Police believe the package containing the reptiles was presented at the post office in Glendale just before 12.30 on Wednesday.
It’s not yet known what species the reptiles are – however the longest is over 1 metre in length.
A man is assisting police with their inquiries.
