WATER WEEK MAKES A SPLASH IN FORSTER

A very unusual looking visitor has been making a splash at schools and libraries in the MidCoast region, to mark National Water Week.
A singing and dancing ‘Whizzy the Waterdrop’ visited Giggles Child Care in Forster today, to promote the importance of drinking tap water.
“The kids, they learn so much at this young age and hopefully they’ll take that through and impact on our environment.”
This year’s theme is ‘Water, Life, Growth’, encouraging sound water practices.
