Police are searching for a prisoner who remains on the run after fleeing a Hunter Valley Hospital overnight.
The 35-year-old from Sydney suffered arm injuries in an incident at the Cessnock Correctional Centre overnight and was taken to hospital for treatment.
On arrival he jumped out of a vehicle and fled. Concerns are held for the man’s medical condition which police have been told could deteriorate if not treated.
He’s described as caucasian, around 180cm, medium build,light brown hair and eyes.
