An $86-million windfall is on its way to Tamworth with the Defence Force announcing it will continue its basic pilot training in the city.
The good news comes after years of lobbying, but it doesn’t mean it’s here to stay.
It’s an interim contract, with British Aerospace Systems set to face the process again possibly within six years.
