It’s been a mixed weekend for the Newcastle Hunters in the Waratah Basketball League with both senior teams recording a loss and a win.
The women’s side beat Maitland last night, before going down to defending champion’s Bankstown.
The men lost to the Mustangs by one point in overtime, but recovered to edge out the Bruins this afternoon.
