Flights into the region’s airports resumed late this afternoon.
Qantas flights from Sydney to Tamworth, Armidale and Moree were cancelled yesterday leaving local travellers in limbo.
But services out of Sydney to Tamworth and Armidale resumed this afternoon.
Evening flights to Moree are scheduled to arrive tonight.
