Like to see their proof they can co-exist when they were discovered to have dumped hundreds of thousands of litres of contaminated water onto pasture, killing the grass and vegetation and, when found out, having to remediate the pasture at the direction of the Government.
Just one example of what AGL is prepared to do to ensure the share price stays up.
I am against AGL or any other corporation undertaking any exploration or tapping of coal seam gas from the Hunter Valley region. The fracking process to date has proven to contaminate water supplies in Australia & overseas .This region is better left to the farmers / grape growers who have demonstrated respect for the land & environs.
Help us to Stop AGL from Turning the Hunter Valley
Vineyards into Gas Lands
Please sign our petition to the NSW Government demanding they STOP AGL exploring and putting in gas wells through our iconic Vineyard Areas
PLEASE, READ ALL ABOUT THE PETITION AND SIGN HERE

The water table has been circulating the same amount of water for millenia. For millenia water has been absorbed, used, evaporated, returned as rain or snow. Coal Seam Gas will be puming unnamed chenicals into this system. There is a new vicioius cycle 0 petrocheicals from oil used to make czarcinogenic additives which are put into the water cycle. Oh, but it’s OK, petrochemicals from oil will be used to make new and better cancer treatment drugs.
Enough already. Strip mining has made half the Hunter into a sterile wastelnad and now they want the rest – WE HAVE TO LIVE HERE YOU KNOW!
When a community says no, then there is no social licence to operate. Frack off!
