Hastings Valley farmers still coming to grips with the affects of last month’s heavy rain, have attended a flood recovery workshop at Wauchope today.
The sessions, run by the Department of Primary Industries, are aimed at helping producers get back on their feet.
Many areas affected by the flooding are still inundated with mud and silt, forcing farmers to buy fodder for livestock.
Smithtown will host the next flood recovery workshop tomorrow, with Macksville set down for Thursday.
