PUBLIC SECTOR WAGES RALLY ATTRACTS HUNDREDS

The streets of Gosford were closed today as hundreds of public sector employees protested new workplace laws.

Their message to the Central Coast’s four Liberal MPs was clear, support their community, or resign.

  2. Great to see people standing up. Job cuts mean not only service cuts (usually provided to those most at risk), but less money in local economies and flow on job losses in other sectors (not to mention a rise in the need for services as a consequence). Silly move Barry, one term is all you’ll get!!

  3. I see that the member for the Entrance want’s the coast to ‘shine again’, and his mum was a teacher. Kicking the public service needlessly is not going to do that. I wonder if his mum was made redundant in the past, how he’d feel today.
