DRIVERS CONTINUE INDUSTRIAL ACTION

Garbage collectors continued their industrial action in Port Macquarie today, over pay and work conditions.
The drivers returned to their roadside protest after being turned away from work for refusing to complete company paperwork.
The men are calling on their employer, JR Richards and Sons, to negotiate an Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
A spokesman for the Transport Workers Union says the workers intend to continue their fight.
The company says the industrial action, which is being taken by a small minority of staff, is not affecting regular garbage collection services.
