NEWSOME AND RYAN NAMED IN WARATAHS SUPER RUGBY OPENER

Glen Innes rugby star Alex Newsome has been selected on the bench for the New South Wales Waratahs, in their opening Super Rugby match this Saturday night.

Newsome signed a two-year deal with the Waratahs late last year, following the demise of the Western Force.

Meanwhile, Tamworth’s Paddy Ryan has been named in the starting 15 at prop, when they face the Stormers at Allianz Stadium.
