NETBALLERS MOVE TO HELP BOY

Netballers in Newcastle today got moving on a series of fundraisers to give a two-year-old boy a sporting chance at life.
Nicholas Perry was born 11 weeks premature, and complications left him with brain damage and cerebral palsy.
He’s never expected to walk.
The walk-a-thon aimed to help Nick’s mum, an A-grade netballer, and dad, raise $30,000 for a specialised wheelchair and modified car, to help with transport for medical appointments.

The netballers invovled in this fundraiser are from the BNC Netball Club to which I am a member and if every sports club can do what our club does just think how many kids you could help.So I challenge other sports clubs who are game enough to do the same as our Club and we never ask for anything in return just knowing we are helping someone is all the thanks we need.
The BNC netball club would like to thank everyone that came down today to support Nicholas in his walkathon.
