Two bumbling bandits are on the run after a botched ATM explosion in Tweed Heads South.
Police say the men used gas to try and break into a Bank of Queensland machine on Friday morning.
“Our detectives are investigating that matter and we would appeal to anyone who has any information to contact Tweed Heads police or crime stoppers.”
It follows a similar attack on an ATM in Upper Coomera last month, where a clumsy crook set himself on fire.
