A 17-year-old male has faced court in Newcastle, charged over a spate of high performance and luxury car thefts, including billionaire Nathan Tinkler’s $500,000 Ferrari California.
The Ferrari was found burnt out in bushland at Raymond Terrace last month.
The youth is facing 10 charges, including five of aggravated break and enter.
Police say they expect to make further arrests.
