Lawn bowler Peter Burgess, from Newcastle’s Alder Park club, has taken out the singles title at the State President’s Reserve finals in Port Macquarie.
The four-day event attracted singles and pairs players from across metropolitan and regional New South Wales.
The doubles title went to Gunnedah’s Ross Grudgfield and Scott Thorning, who beat father-and-son team Henry and Adam Beiderman from Springwood.
