NORTH COAST SURF REPORT 09-09-11

After a brilliant week of sunny spring weather it was much cooler in the surf today, a thick blanket of grey clouds, a little rain and cooler temps bringing back a blast of winter.
Our pics today were taken around 10am at gallows in CoffsHarbour when the wind was from the north west. A few clean crunchy half metre waves were on offer for the hardy few who had to scale tempory fencing erected for the world rally event in town to enjoy a quick surf.
A south wester kicked in around lunchtime creating a few more options for waves, then quickly swung back from the north as the cloud band headed out to sea.
Cheers, noel.
