The best players from both the men’s and women’s premier divisions will be awarded medals, named in honour of two of the north coast’s most successful soccer players.
“It’s an idea we came up with to try and give due recognition to the game at the top level locally.”
The best female will receive the Lisa Casagrande medal, the best male, one named after former Socceroo, Terry Greedy.
