There were emotional scenes in Newcastle Court today, as a jury delivered its verdict on a glassing attack at a greyhound racing complex.
Daniel Mark Williams wept and yelled out to his family, after being found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm during the incident at The Gardens track last month.
Judge Helen Syme remanded the Waratah man in custody, saying a custodial sentence is inevitable.
A sentencing date will be set next Tuesday.
