Ocean Shores local, Tommy Boucaut has won his round one heat in the under 16’s division of the Coffs Harbour Gromsearch.
The 16-year-old out-surfed Woolgoolga’s Mark Merrikan, Matt Andrews and the Central Coast’s Riley Laing with a top wave score of 8.23.
Tommy is expected to hit the water again tomorrow for round two of the six series national event.
