A Cooks Hill coffee shop has suffered smoke and fire damage after a blaze broke out in a kitchen yesterday.
Around 5:50pm, fire crews attended Welsh Blacks cafe on Bull Street, where a fire had started in an industrial oven.
It’s believed the fire progressed upwards through the kitchen flue and into the second level.
Six fire trucks, as well as police and ambulance attended, and the fire was extinguished without incident.
No one was injured.
