A severe weather warning remains in place for flash flooding on the mid north coast
following more heavy rain overnight and today.
At Thora and Darkwood dozens of families are stranded with several low level bridges now under water.
Dorrigo and Thora received around 90 millimetres last night and more rain today is expected to maintain minor flood levels until at least tomorrow.
” It’s holding pretty well it got to about four metres at the Bellingen bridge and now it’s slowly dropping but very slowly, hopefully with no more rain it will stay like it.”
The SES is advising farmers and Bellinger Valley residents to keep a close watch on river levels overnight.
