Gold Coast Airport will go from a so-called “international embarrassment” to a modern facility, under a proposed $200-million redevelopment.
The days of saturated passengers, wading across a wet tarmac will be gone – with aero-bridges and a multi-storey terminal part of the much-needed upgrade.
