The Taree City Bulls have announced a trial match next Saturday against Newcastle club Macquarie Scorpions.
The game will be used to gauge the strength of the Bulls ahead of the Group Three rugby league opener at the end of next month.
This year the team will be lead by new coach Daniel Dumas, as well as several other Port City recruits.
23 players from the Scorpions will make the trip.
The match kicks off at 3.30 at Jack Neale Oval in Taree.
