Police have revealed that a driver whose ute collided with a truck, sending it careening into a house at Urunga last month, had a blood alcohol level almost five times the legal limit.
The crash killed an 11-year-old boy inside the home.
Police now say 38-year-old David Levett, who also died, had a blood alcohol reading of 0.245 at the time.
