One of the pioneers of business and real estate in the Hunter has died.
Colin Chapman, a former head of the business chamber and owner of Colin Chapman Real Estate, passed away peacefully overnight.
His family today said Mr Chapman “believed in Newcastle”.
He worked on developments in the city until his late 60s, and is survived by wife Robyn, sons Peter and David, and seven grandchildren.
Colin Chapman was 74.
