Kevin Moore has come from the clouds to finish fourth at the Sydney Track Classic.
Against a class field, including John Steffenson and Kenyan world 800-metre record holder David Rudisha, the Mingara athlete had plenty of work to do in the straight, but flew home to narrowly miss a podium finish.
He will now compete in Melbourne, in a bid to qualify for the Olympics.
