In a major coup for the region, junior rugby union players will soon learn from one of the sport’s best, when Wallabies coach Robbie Deans tours the mid north coast next month.
The Australian test coach will be conducting coaching workshops and speaking to under 16s players.
Deans has had a long standing career in the sport, both as a player and coach for the All Blacks, before his appointment to the Wallabies in 2008.
His three-day tour begins in Coffs Harbour on March 13.
He’ll then stop into Port Macquarie, before making his way to Taree on the 15th.
