Scone mare Ortensia will become the first Hunter Valley-trained horse to race at the world’s richest meeting in Dubai.
The relatively new addition to Paul Messara’s stable hasn’t started since winning the Group 1 Winterbottom Stakes in Perth last November.
She’s being aimed at the Group One Al Quoz Sprint on March 31, with Darren Beadman the stable’s first choice to ride.
