STATE-WIDE GRAFFITI HOTLINE

Member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead, has welcomed a new state-wide hotline to report graffiti, saying it will help clean up the community faster.

Hotline operators will forward reported graffiti sightings to local councils, which is expected to speed up the removal process.

Police will also be notified.

Greater Taree City Council spends around $200,000 each year to clean up vandalism.
