Back to the beach briefly, and Miss Surfest finalists stepped out of their comfort zone today, having a go at the latest watersport craze, stand up paddle boarding.
Fortunately, the water at Horseshoe Beach was calm, and all 12 finalists managed to stay upright, keeping their all-important hair and makeup intact.
“It definitely gives your legs a really good work out, just the half squatting and balancing ha ha but yeah it was great.”
Mr Surfest also had a go, dressed in his title-winning outfit.
