The Newcastle Show has wrapped up, with less people attending the event compared to last year.
45,000 people entered the gates over the weekend, which is a 25% drop on last years figures.
Newcastle Show President, Roger Geary, says he expected the drop given the number of events on in Newcastle over the weekend and the lack of public holiday on Friday.
Despite the drop, yesterday’s fine weather helped bring in families with numbers up 20%.
