LIFE-LONG LEARNERS HIT PORT

The benefits of life-long learning are being promoted this week during the U3A state conference at Port Macquarie.

Around 160 delegates are in town for the conference, which is following the theme “The Fountain of Age.”

At this morning’s official opening they were treated to a special performance by the Bel Canto children’s choir.

Keynote speaker was Noeline Brown who is Australia’s first Ambassador for Ageing.

The conference continues at the Glasshouse tomorrow.
