The heat was on Federal Government Duty Senator for Cowper, Matt Thistlethwaite who was today grilled about his party’s Clean Energy Future package.
He squared off in a fiery public debate against Federal Cowper MP Luke Hartsuyker, at Coffs Harbour Radio station 2HC.
“What we’re doing is setting up a new economic paradigm I’ve often said it’s the equivalent of moving from the industrial age and moving into a clean energy future.”
“No other country is doing anything remotely close to the sort of burden that the government is going to impose on this country.”
The Clean Energy Future Package will be introduced in July.
