Motorsport action will return to the mid north coast this weekend, when Kempsey’s Sporting Car Club hosts the second round of the State Hillclimb Championship.
Series leaders Tim Edmondson and Doug Barry will be among the field of 53 competing for championship points.
Also competing, local hope Dave Morrow who’s tipped to take out the under 1300cc class.
Racing will take place on a section of the old Pacific Highway at Mount Cooperabung, between Port Macquarie and Kempsey.
It gets underway at 9:30 on Sunday morning.
