Police from the Tuggerah Lakes Police Local Area Command are asking people to tee off for a good cause.
A charity event, including a Golf Day and auction, will be held later this month to support two causes, the David Rixon Memorial Fund and The Solomon Islands Community Health & Development Project.
Senior Constable David Rixon was killed in Tamworth earlier this year and the funds raised will help his wife & 6 children.
Police from the Central Coast have been involved with The Solomon Islands Community Health & Development Project helping build much needed medical infrastructure, such as clinics & housing for medical staff.
