A 70-year-old man has died after his car collided head-on with a truck on the Pacific Highway at Macksville this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash shortly before 8 o’clock.
The driver of an Australian Rail Track Corporation truck received minor injuries in the accident.
The section of highway, three kilometres north of Macksville, has been the scene of a number of fatal accidents over recent years.
