Almost 70 players are in Goonellabah for this weekend’s far north coast table tennis open tournament.
Among them, last year’s champion 18-year-old Kane Townsend from Cabarita, who has just been selected in the 15-man Australian Olympic shadow squad.
He’ll have his hands full against Queensland’s number one player and former Chilean national champ, Bruno Levis.
