FRASER THREATENS TO QUIT OVER SUB CONTRACTORS FIASCO

Coffs Harbour Nationals MP, Andrew Fraser, is threatening to quit the government if sub contractors working on a Department of Housing project in the city aren’t paid for work.

For the second time in 18 months, a contactor, this time St Hilliers, has gone into voluntary liquidation owing subbies almost $1-million.

The original contractor, Perle Constructions, went bust in 2010 owing local tradesman more than $1.6-million.

Andrew Fraser says if the builders aren’t paid their money by the O’Farrell Government, he’ll quit the government and sit as an independent.
