KURRI’S CASEY STONER RETIRES FROM MOTOGP

Casey Stoner has shocked the MotoGP world by announcing he’ll retire at the end of the 2012 season.

The Kurri-bred two-time series champion says he reached his decision after discussions with his family – he’s also not a fan of recent changes to the category

The 26-year old said “This sport has changed a lot, to the point where I’m not enjoying it anymore. I don’t have the passion for it.”
