Mid north coast volunteers are expected to hit their neighbourhoods this weekend,for the Salvation Army’s annual Red Shield Appeal.
Across the weekend they’ll be asking for donations to the appeal, which nationally hopes to raise $80-million.
The charity helps around one million people every year pay bills and put food on the table.
Collectors will be wearing Salvation Army bibs and identification – they’ll also have donation buckets or bags.
