MEN CHARGED WITH FIREARM OFFENCES

Police have arrested and charged two men over the theft of firearms from a Barraba property, in the state’s north.
The March break in occurred in Barraba in March where seven pistols and two rifles were stolen.
A 28-year-old Tamworth man has been arrested and charged with 13 firearm offences, as well as fraud, other break, enter and steal incidents, arson and motor vehicle theft.
On Monday, police also arrested a 46-year-old Tamworth man.
He was charged with 13 firearms offences, as well as break, enter and steal, drug supply, arson and firearm offences.
The 28-year-old has been bail refused and will appear in Tamworth Local Court on Wednesday, June 27.
The 46-year-old has also been refused bail and will appear in Tamworth Local Court in June.
