Workers rallied in Newcastle’s Civic Park and Number 1 Sportsground this afternoon, joining thousands of other workers protesting across the state.
This was not a public sector workers rally. It was a broad based union rally that included AMWU, CFMEU, PSA, RTBU, nurses, firies, teachers, uni students and just about every other sector of the working community that you can imagine. You have NO pictures of the rally in Civic Park where several thousand workers gathered. Your reporting is both selective and inaccurate.
