Thousands of young performers were warming their vocal chords this morning, with rehearsals getting underway for this weekend’s Star Struck.

Schools from across the Hunter and Central Coast are taking part in the extravaganza, which is now in its 20th year.
The opening matinee performance will be staged on Friday.
