CHILDREN APPROACHED BY MAN WHILE WAITING FOR BUS

Three children have been approached by a man while waiting for a bus south of Newcastle.
The 12-year-old boy and his two sisters, 13 and 14-years old, were waiting at the Glendale bus interchange on Monday afternoon, when a man attempted to touch the children before grabbing the older girl.
Police say a group of teenagers was nearby and helped the children.
The man has been described as being aged in his 40s or 50s, of Caucasian appearance, 175cm tall with a sold build, short brown hair and wearing a red and black shirt with jeans and brown work boots.
