CRUSADERS COME FROM BEHIND IN FINAL QUARTER TO DEFEAT HUNTERS MEN

In the men’s competition, it was a mixed weekend for Maitland, beating Hornsby by two, before losing to the Comets this afternoon.

Newcastle beat Hills in Sydney, before losing a see sawing contest with the Crusaders this afternoon.

While the Coast got off to a solid start through Cal Jenkins, The Hunters did have the upper-hand – mainly thanks to Russell Hinter who top-scored with 28.

But while the Crusaders started the fourth down by 5, they soon had the lead, closing out the result.
