Major upheaval tonight at the Gold Coast Suns with dual premiership coach, Malcolm Blight stepping down from his role as Club Director to take up the newly created position of Director of Coaching.
Blight, a former Brownlow and Coleman medallist, will oversee struggling mentor, Guy McKenna in the coach’s box from as early as Sunday against the Cats.
A spokesperson for the Suns denies the move is, in part, an admission McKenna’s methods are failing.
