CHILLY RECEPTION FOR JETS IN CANBERRA

The Jets have received a chilly reception in Canberra, training for the first time this morning in sub-zero temperatures.
Swiss import Dominik Ritter looked right at home in the cold, unlike some of his new teammates.
Newcastle will take on a Canberra select side tomorrow night, giving Gary van Egmond the chance to begin fine tuning his starting 11.
“We’ve built some miles into their legs, we’re still overloading them but at the same time we’re still starting to look at those combinations and to get our style of play right.”
