A staff member at an Islington newsagency has been threatened at gunpoint, over just a few packets of cigarettes.
The woman was opening the Maitland Road business just after 5am yesterday when she was confronted by a man demanding cash and cigarettes.
She handed over boxes of cigarettes before the offender fled the scene.
He was last seen heading west along Daniel Street.
