Floral tributes have been placed at the site of a car crash which killed a woman in the Newcastle suburb of Mayfield last night.
Police say the 51-year-old was heading west on Industrial Drive just before 9:30, when her car was clipped by a Holden Commodore.
The male driver of the Commodore was taken to the John Hunter Hospital for blood and urine tests.
Police are calling for witnesses to come forward.
