A man is facing Newcaste Local Court today charged with raping his three-year-old daughter.
The 31-year-old was arrested on Tuesday afternoon and charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child under 16.
Earlier the Child Abuse Squad had been called in after a doctor found the girl had a sexually transmitted disease
